Situated just blocks from the Queen Isabella Causeway, our resort is centrally located to provide our guests with a “home base” to enjoy everything the Island has to offer. With the Royale’s beachfront location you will be just steps away from the sandy beaches and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

When not at the beach or out exploring the Island, you will enjoy our spacious and relaxing accommodations. Our living area provides ample space for your family and friends to gather after a day at the beach or activities on the Island. Each unit is tastefully furnished with breathtaking views of the Gulf from both the Living Room and Master Bedroom; you’ll also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining room, and a large balcony to listen to the surf and watch the waves with your morning coffee!

In addition to ocean views and a prime South Padre Beach location, we offer three pools, four Jacuzzis, four tennis courts, professional landscaping and a range of amenities designed to make each visitor’s stay comfortable and memorable. While at the pool you may want to enjoy a snack from the Burger Shack & Whiskey Shack, managed by Montana’s the Kraken.

There are many reasons that the Royale is special but none greater than our staff. You will find that our staff is friendly, gracious, and very anxious to assist you. If you have ever stayed at the Royale you probably have already experienced that “at home feeling” during your stay. The time of day does not matter as our staff mans our front desk 24 hours a day and is happy to serve you at any hour.

The Area

Royale Beach & Tennis Club offers beachfront accommodations on beautiful South Padre Island. This vibrant area is full of recreational activities, local attractions, and nightlife.

When you are looking for a resort on South Padre Island the Royale has numerous activities right outside your door. Enjoy one of the three onsite pools, play tennis, unwind in one of our Jacuzzis or enjoy a relaxing day at the beach.

If you are looking for a little more excitement in your day enjoy one of the many activities offered on the Island: Windsurfing, kiteboarding, surfing, jet skiing, snorkeling, diving, parasailing, and kayaking. You can also go horseback riding on the beach or ride a dune buggy across the sand dunes.

When the day is done watch the sunset or enjoy a delicious dinner at one of the Island’s many restaurants. There are also places where you can sit and listen to music. On Friday nights watch the fireworks over the bay. When the evening is finished return to the Royale, your home away from home.
